Oxford Technical Solutions (OxTS) offers a range of leading GNSS-aided inertial navigation systems for applications where reliable position and highly accurate orientation data matter. Our systems provide continuous position measurements even in harsh GPS environments and output roll, pitch and heading making it an ideal system for all airborne or land-based survey and mobile mapping applications.
xNAV200 – Compact and lightweight GPS/INS sensor
OxTS will showcase its smallest and lightest INS/GNSS at this years’ AUVSI Unmanned Systems conference in Washington, DC from 12-15 August 2013. The newly developed xNAV200 is a very compact, small and lightweight INS, perfectly suited for all applications where size and weight as well as performance matter. The xNAV200 is capable of providing reliable position (90cm), precise heading (0.15°) as well as highly accurate roll/pitch (0.05°) measurements at up to 100Hz. The miniature sensor offers some striking advantages: it is very small, extremely lightweight (<380g), highly reliable and easy to integrate. It can be used for geo-referencing sensors and is ideal for use on unmanned aerial vehicles. Read more…
RT3000 – High accuracy position, heading, roll/pitch
Our flagship GNSS-aided inertial navigation systems, the RT3000 products, are ideal for a wide range of applications including vehicle-based and airborne mobile mapping and surveying projects. The reliable systems are perfect for providing reliable positioning down to a few centimetres, highly accurate and stable heading information as well as precise roll and pitch data. All of it in real-time, with low latency and a high update rate of up to 250Hz. Read more…
Position and orientation for UAV helicopters
More and more UAV developers rely on the OxTS products forhighly accurate position and orientation information. Aeroscout in Switzerland have recently equipped two UAV helicopter systems with dual-antenna RT3003 INS/GPS systems. The Scout B1-100 UAV helicopter provides a cost-effective, new and innovative solution for airborne scanning. Fields of application include mapping of coastal lines, cultural heritage, forests, electricity pylons etc. Read more…
