180_180_AEBTestRT-Range for AEB testing 

The RT-Range system from OxTS is one of the preferred solutions for testing Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) features. EuroNCAP members ADAC and Thatcham have used the OxTS RT-Range for AEB testing as well as for validation of other advanced driver assistance systems. The RT-Range provides highly accurate vehicle-to-vehicle measurements in real-time. Measurements to a stationary vehicle, a towed balloon car or even pedestrians are possible. New traffic sign recognition systems need to provide reliable detection for targets which fall within an ADAS sensor’s scope. With the new feature point technology in the RT-Range, vehicle manufacturers can now test and validate vision based ADAS sensors in real-time and with high accuracy. Just load a set of pre-defined feature points into our software (which can represent traffic lights or road signs), enter the field of view of your sensors and the RT-Range will output a wealth of measurements including longitudinal range, lateral range, time-to-collision etc. when these feature points enter the specified field of view. Read more…
