The International Organisation for Standardisation’s ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies requirements for a quality management system which an organisation needs to fulfill in order to achieve effective processes, high quality products and services as well as a high level of customer satisfaction. It also includes a requirement for continual improvement of the Quality Management System of a company.
