Ouster builds high-resolution LiDAR sensors for long, mid and short range applications in the industrial automation, smart infrastructure, robotics, and automotive industries.
Ouster transformed LiDAR from an analog device with thousands of components to an elegant digital device powered by one chip-scale laser array and one CMOS sensor. The result is a full range of high-resolution, reliable, compact and affordable LiDAR sensors.
OxTS and Ouster
Users of a range of Ouster sensors can fuse their LiDAR data with data from OxTS’ survey-specific Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) – Survey+ v3, xNAV650.
By using OxTS’ LiDAR georeferencing software OxTS Georeferencer, users can quickly and easily calibrate the angles between their INS and Ouster LiDAR sensor and survey their environment with confidence.
By combining the data from an Ouster LiDAR with the data from an OxTS INS using OxTS Georeferencer, users can benefit from:
- A full navigation solution
- Quicker time to survey
- High-quality, georeferenced pointclouds
- Improved project ROI
“When OxTS approached Ouster to integrate Ouster LiDAR sensors into their OxTS Georeferencer software it really was a ‘no-brainer’. Their engineers have done a fantastic job helping our mutual customers to build full navigation solutions using our LiDAR sensor and OxTS Inertial Navigation Systems”

LiDAR Surveying Brochure
OxTS inertial navigation systems provide users with absolute position and highly accurate inertial measurement information. This information allows them to georeference pointclouds from multiple LiDAR sensors.
These measurements help increase survey repeatability, cut down the time to survey, intelligently analyse data, improve final results and increase project ROI.
