To create the most clear and concise pointclouds, INS and LiDAR set-up needs to be carefully considered. The more precise the set-up, the better the results will be.
However, achieving the optimal set-up can take time – time that could be spent surveying. This doesn’t need to be the case though because as technology advances the ‘time to survey’ also shortens.
