OxTS and Hesai
With the release of OxTS Georeferencer v1.2, OxTS announced integrations with a range of new Hesai LiDAR sensors.
- Easily create a full navigation solution
- Speed up survey set-up time
- Increase survey repeatability
- Create high quality, georeferenced pointclouds
Over the coming months new Hesai LiDAR sensors will be integrated with OxTS Georeferencer to provide users a wider choice when it comes to the technology they use to survey their environment.
“We have seen a real spike in interest in Hesai LiDAR integration since we launched version 1.2 of OxTS Georeferencer. We think this is testament to the quality of LiDAR sensors that Hesai supply”
Jacob Amacker, Product Engineer, OxTS
Hesai PandarXT SLAM
Users of OxTS Inertial Navigation Systems can combine the data from a Hesai PandarXT LiDAR with their INS to create highly accurate, georeferenced 3D Pointclouds.
The PandarXT LiDAR is a mid-range sensor with Hesai’s self-developed, proprietary LiDAR ASIC’s.
The data is fused using OxTS Georeferencer which is our LiDAR georeferencing software.

LiDAR Surveying Brochure
OxTS inertial navigation systems provide users with absolute position and highly accurate inertial measurement information. This information allows them to georeference pointclouds from multiple LiDAR sensors.
These measurements help increase survey repeatability, cut down the time to survey, intelligently analyse data, improve final results and increase project ROI.
