Inertial & GNSS Leaders
since 1998
At OXTS, we have an ambitious goal
We want to create a better world by delivering precision positioning in all environments.
Our story focuses on our customers who are working to create a safer, more efficient and more sustainable world with their products and solutions. Integral to their success is accurate localisation data, which often needs to be generated in challenging environments.
That’s where we come in.
Localisation technology for when failure is not an option
Our customers rely on our technology in situations and environments where accurate data and total reliability are paramount. We’ve earned that reputation through the quality of our technology, and our experience in localisation technology.
With a heritage of more than 25 years in the automotive testing industry, OXTS has grown to provide localisation solutions for georeferencing and autonomous navigation projects all over the world.
We’re continuing to develop new solutions, focusing on fusing additional sensors into hardware, and exploring new markets where technology can make the world a better place.
-
High-quality hardware Our devices all contain high-performing MEMS inertial measurement units, and two survey-grade quad-band GNSS receivers for pinpoint accuracy in open-sky conditions.
-
Clever calibrations Every device we make is individually calibrated to ensure reliability and repeatability. Our process also ensures that every OXTS device performs to the same standard, ensuring consistency across fleet deployments.
-
Advanced algorithms With over 25 years’ experience in inertial navigation, our engineers have developed proprietary algorithms and an Extended Kalman Filter that optimise the performance of our inertial navigation technology, even in environments where GNSS signal is weaker. Our devices provide accuracy comparable with FOG INS hardware – at a fraction of the price.
-
Sophisticated sensor fusion Modern localisation solutions need to rely on a range of sensors in order to function in any environment. Our engineers are pushing the boundaries of sensor fusion to deliver real-time aiding data from sensors including LiDAR, camera odometry, and radar.
Help us make the world a better place
Our mission wouldn’t be possible without our international team of expert engineers and support staff. We empower every employee to work at their best, grow in their careers, and feel rewarded in their work.
If you’d like to work in the cutting edge of localisation technology, with one of the most experienced teams of engineers in the industry, we’d love to hear from you.
