What’s an Inertial Navigation System (INS) without the software to run it?
NAVsuite is OxTS’ complimentary software toolbox. It is included free with every purchase of an OxTS INS.
The applications available within NAVsuite give surveyors the ability to configure, monitor, post-process and analyse the data from their OxTS INS.
The applications within NAVsuite allow surveyors to…
- Configure – NAVconfig allows users to configure their INS to ensure they are getting the best possible data.
- Monitor – Using NAVdisplay, surveyors can ‘see what their OxTS INS is seeing’, and monitor their data in real-time.
- Post-process – Surveyors can use NAVsolve to post-process their survey data.
- Analyse – NAVgraph allows users of OxTS INS devices to read and interpret the data in graphical form. Ideal for troubleshooting.
Please note that OxTS Georeferencer is not included within NAVsuite.
NAVconfig
NAVconfig is OxTS’ universal configuration tool for OxTS survey devices. The application allows you to create unlimited configuration files (both online and offline) and extract configurations from previous data collections. NAVconfig also allows surveyors to create specific configurations for your chosen survey and hardware bundle.
A step-by-step wizard ensures all the essential inputs are applied to make your data as accurate as possible.
With a 3D representation of orientation and relative distances between your OxTS device, antenna(s) and axles, you can clearly see when your configuration is correct.
Additional features allow you to check your device’s general information, such as what feature codes are installed and the version of firmware it is running.
NAVdisplay
NAVdisplay allows surveyors to monitor navigation data in real-time.
Using ready-made templates, surveyors can immediately see the measurements that matter to them, across any device live on your network.
NAVdisplay also allows users to create their own templates and customise the thresholds on each widget, making it easy to see whether the required specification has been reached.
Multiple plugins can also be added that allow you to improve your configuration settings, record test data and more.
NAVsolve
NAVsolve is a powerful post-processing application.
Once you’ve collected your survey data, NAVsolve provides a number of functions designed to quickly extract the measurements you need with minimum effort, whether on single or multiple files.
NAVsolve can add differential corrections to measurements, automatically read multiple RINEX files and show a preview of raw data before processing, to help your data be as accurate as possible.
For challenging environments, the forward/backwards processing algorithm and single satellite aiding technology gx/ix, also helps to improve survey data accuracy.
NAVgraph
NAVgraph allows surveyors to plot, analyse, and export navigation data after the survey.
Using NAVgraph, surveyors can read OxTS formatted data and display it in graphical form – ideal for troubleshooting. The application can also be used to export data in a number of formats.
INS device files can often be large, so NAVgraph has been optimised to preserve system performance even when large files are loaded and multiple measurements displayed.
Datasets can be easily compared allowing surveyors to make important project decisions.
