Precision mapping even in challenging environments

Mobile mapping can be challenging if you’re moving through different environments synchronising data from multiple sensors.

With this bundle you can georeference data from another sensor, such as camera and ground-penetrating radar, which can be used to improve positioning data in harsh GNSS environments.

This bundle is designed for mobile mapping setups that do not include LiDAR. For surveyors using LiDAR, our LiDAR Mapping Bundle provides the additional capabilities to georeference LiDAR data.

Mapping bundle optimises your OXTS GNSS/INS with the following features:

PTP

Enables operation as a PTP master or slave/client in a network using the PTP IEEE 1588-2008 standard.

gx/ix GNSS Tight-Coupling

Enables the use of gx/ix GNSS tight-coupling engine up to integer position mode (~1cm accuracy) in real time and post-process.

Raw Data Streaming

Enables real time streaming of raw data (RD) files for logging on an external device.

Ethernet Logging

Enables logging of real time NCOM and PCAP sensor data on the device via Ethernet.

Enables operation as a gPTP master or slave/client in a network using the IEEE 802.1AS or AUTOSAR standards.

Note that external power is required to use the highest-grade GNSS antenna that OXTS offers (VEXXIS 850) with the xNAV650, AV200 and RT1003v2.
