Robotic systems and self-propelled targets for active safety system testing

AB Dynamics is one of the world’s leading specialists in automotive track test systems across a wide range of applications, from validation and durability to the development of advanced technologies for active safety and autonomous driving systems.

Its driving robots, ADAS test targets and platforms are first-class examples of the trust that is placed in AB Dynamics.

They company’s products are used by the 30 largest vehicle manufacturers worldwide, by government authorities including NHTSA and by all 8 Euro NCAP laboratories.

AB Dynamics has also contributed to the development of generations of vehicles and to many of the world’s most important test protocols.

OXTS and AB Dynamics

OXTS’ RT3000 v3 and RT1003 v2 automotive Inertial Navigation Systems work seamlessly with the AB Dynamics ecosystem.

OXTS devices provide accurate, real-time navigation data to AB Dynamics’ control systems. The AB Dynamics driving robots and moving targets rely on this data to manoeuvre test vehicles and for accurate and repeatable testing. For users, this integration ensures that test runs can be completed as planned, safely and consistently.

Using AB Dynamics’ Synchro software users can coordinate and synchronise multiple objects to control complex traffic scenarios, which are commonly used in the development of autonomous vehicles (AVs) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
