Reporting to the senior export coordinator team leader, the main tasks include preparation and processing of paperwork for domestic and international shipments; including despatch notes, commercial invoices, customs and other shipping documents required to facilitate timely and accurate despatch of customer and supplier shipments in line with company processes and in accordance with current legislation. Working with other departments to ensure timely despatch of customer orders. Preparation and timely submission of all compliance returns.
The commercial manager is responsible for the selection and management of the OxTS representatives worldwide within a number of territories. These representatives sell to and support customers in the automotive testing and development market as well as the general navigation markets. Reporting to the sales team leader and working closely with support engineers, others in the sales team as well as other departments across the business.
Working for the marketing manager, the main tasks include booking advertisements in relevant magazines and publications, organising all global exhibitions and events, organising press releases and articles for print and web-based publications; ordering promotional gifts and branded items; as well as tracking marketing spending and reporting metrics to marketing manager. The marketing administrator is required to work closely with the marketing, sales and product management teams as well as build an excellent rapport with the company’s global network of sales representatives.
Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager – Automotive Integrators is primarily responsible for seeking out new opportunities for ongoing business from customers who integrate OxTS INS (inertial navigation system) products to theirs and resell to the automotive market. This will require approaching potential customers directly but also working with channel partners and their current or potential customers for opportunities they have identified. This is a new role and has been created to provide focus and a direct relationship with potential customers as well as through channel partners when they identify opportunities. However, the expectation is the majority of accounts will be direct. The role will be based in the UK (Middleton Stoney, Bicester) but will be dealing with customers internationally and require international travel for exhibition, events and account management visits.”
Graduate Software Engineer
The position involves designing, developing and maintaining GUI applications software to support our range of measurement products. These applications currently run on the Microsoft Windows platform but may, in the future, be required to run on mobile device platforms such as Android, iOS and/or UWP.
Senior Software Engineer Applications-GUI
The position has significant responsibility for designing, developing and maintaining software for our products. The role is mainly involved in applications, graphical software and data analysis using Microsoft Windows. Knowledge of other operating systems such as portable devices, embedded systems and UNIX is a benefit. Knowledge of electronics is useful.
Application Engineering roles
We are currently looking for 7 Application Engineers to support our continuous growth. The role of Application Engineer is to develop engineering solutions using OxTS products or board sets to meet customer needs. The role involves all aspects of engineering projects including assessing customer requirements, developing customer hardware and software solutions, supporting customers, and writing technical documentation. The role requires in-depth understanding of the functionality and use of the company’s products and board sets and how to adapt them for new applications. It requires international travel.
R&D Engineer, Navigation Software
The position within the R&D team is to research, develop and implement navigation algorithms and software processing systems for navigation data for post-process and real-time applications, to integrate into our products. The role is involved in all aspects of navigation software development from researching algorithms and feasibility to software release. The role requires a grounding in navigation theory, and good knowledge of software design.
The product manager is responsible for researching and developing a deep understanding of their designated market and identifying the business opportunities open to OxTS. The product manager is then responsible for the creation and delivery of value propositions to address those opportunities. The product manager is responsible for the overall strategic direction of their portfolio and will need to drive and champion this both within OxTS and in the marketplace.
Test Automation Engineer
The role of Test Automation Engineer involves designing, developing and maintaining an automation architecture and framework that will run scripted automatic tests on our suite of Windows-based GUI applications.
