Testing and developing motorcycle dynamics can be challenging due to the unique behaviour of single-track vehicles and the need for a light weight, small size measurement system. Unlike most wheeled vehicles, motorcycles experience high roll angles and roll rates, and high levels and frequency of vibration. When testing the balance, steering, acceleration, and suspension of powered two wheelers, a large amount of dynamic data is required. Technologies such as ABS and MSC have only increased this need for accurate data.
