We’re delighted to announce that OxTS Survey will be exhibiting at our third event of 2022 – GEO Business.

Taking place 18th – 19th May 2022, at the ExCeL conference and exhibition centre in London, GEO Business is the UK’s largest geospatial event designed for everyone involved in the gathering, storing, processing and delivery of geospatial information.

OxTS Presentations at GEO Business 2022

1) Why navigation data is important for survey and mapping applications

GIS&Data Hub Theatre – Wednesday, 18th May at 12:00 hrs (BST)

During Geobusiness 2022, OxTS Application Engineer Jacob Amacker will be discussing why navigation data is so important for survey and mapping applications.

The presentation, due to take place in the GIS&Data Hub theatre, will examine the impact accurate navigation data can have when taken seriously as part of a mapping project. Jacob will also discuss the dangers of neglecting this component and how to wring out the best precision in your final data.

2) Creating clear and accurate pointclouds with OxTS Georeferencer 2.0

Showcase Theatre – Thursday, 19th May at 14:20 hrs (BST)

OxTS Georeferencer is a software application developed to help surveyors quickly and easily georeference LiDAR data.

During this tech stage talk, OxTS Product Engineer Jonathan Deacon will talk about some of the latest enhancements to OxTS Georeferencer and what they mean for professional LiDAR surveyors. Jonathan will also present example case study data and explain how the companies highlighted arrived at these results.
